If I a suggestion may make (German sentence structure), if (AS A MEMBER OF VRRF) you'd like a video ITSELF, (NOT just a link) to appear, as most here do:

1.) Just above the comment window, in which I'm NOW typing, are 17 Square Buttons. Well, after you COPY the URL of the clip (from YouTube, in this case), then CLK. on the clapboard one above...6th. from the left:

2.)THIS will be displayed:

3.) Clk. on YouTube and you get a address bar to PASTE the URL that you copied a bit earlier:

4.) Hit "OK"...and Bob's yer Uncle!...it will be coded for display!

I didn't have any luck posting a video from this source, but if you're not already aware of it, visit the British Pathe' web/archive. Lots of old racing newsreel footage - and tons of other really neat stuff.
