Revised for 2013 BMC Makes and Models Supplemental Regulations are now posted.

They are all PROVISIONAL until February 1, 2013.

Please report any errors or questions you may have.

These will be reference items for a number of Vintage Racing organizations including the Hawk at Road America, HSR, VARA, VSCDA and others to be announced.

The reason you are being notified is:

Jack, On page 2 of the Spridget additional specs, Tube shocks are mentioned as legal for all four corners. Previously, these were allowed on the rear only. Is this an intentional change or an error?

Yes, it is a change that I feel is appropriate. Keep in mind that it is a Level 2 rule. CVAR and I think SVRA may not allow all of the Level 2 specifications.

I would like to hear discussion and dialogue on the subject.

Perhaps I will revise that sheet as "provisional" until we can have more discussion on the subject.

Thanks to several dedicated racers, I have gone back to the existing rule:

"Tube type shocks may replace lever type at the rear only; may not be coil-over"

This of course only applies to certain British cars.
